In addition to funding programs and services that our local partners provide to our community, we also work in conjunction with them to ensure the needs of Kansas City's Jewish life are best met through these programs and services. In addition to a recent Jewish demographic study, the Jewish Federation also created a community needs assessment survey. Working alongside our partner agencies, we collected and shared the feedback we received from nearly 2000 survey participants.
All local programs and services we fund undergo review during our Planning & Allocations (P&A) process, which is determined by the P&A committee, made up of individuals committed to upholding the Jewish Federation’s mission of sustaining and enhancing Jewish life at home and around the world. Each program we fund is reviewed annually.
