A CUTTING EDGE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM, Leadership Tomorrow provides exclusive professional development for exceptional Jewish young adults.

Leadership Tomorrow is a 9-week, full-time internship at a nonprofit in the Kansas City area, starting June 2, 2017 and ending July 28, 2017. Interns must commit to the entire 9 weeks of Leadership Tomorrow to be eligible.

Applications accepted on a rolling basis.

Interns will be notified of selection and nonprofit placement by April 5, 2017.
 
 
FIRST-HAND.  REAL-WORLD.  LIFE-LONG.
 
LEADERSHIP TOMORROW is a state-of-the-art internship program designed to immerse exceptional young adults in the social service community of Greater Kansas City. Participants have the opportunity to network with peers and mentors, refine their personal brands and develop skills that position them for future success in their careers, while doing meaningful service work in the community. Interns get first-hand experience on the ground with Kansas City's top-rated organizations. Individuals grow in leadership skills and personal development. Teams collaborate to write grant applications and make funding pitches for organizations they choose. Each participant will receive one-on-one mentoring from proven professionals.

Here's what you can expect:
FIRST-HAND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. Discover the landscape of the local non-profit community, and link up with excellent partners, volunteers and donors that are making a real impact in Kansas City. 
REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE.  Learn the ropes in a setting where the stakes are real.  Experience teamwork, develop research skills, learn grantsmanship and gain presentation experience with other emerging leaders. 
LIFE-LONG MENTORING.  Rub shoulders with leaders and professionals.  Build relationships with successful members of the Kansas City business community.
$2000 STIPEND FOR THE PROGRAM!

Students interested in applying for internships must complete an application and submit 2 references. Those references should be non-relative and people who have worked with you in a professional setting.
