Wise Aging

The Wise Aging program provides resources and support to help older adults engage life with spirit, resilience, and wisdom.

Trained facilitators lead peer groups in sessions based on a comprehensive curriculum developed by the Institute for Jewish Spirituality.

Using a model of intimate group conversations, Wise Aging applies texts to explore this stage of life through topics such as:
  • Becoming your authentic self
  • Understanding your relationship to your body
  • Revitalizing and nourishing healthy relationships
  • Cultivating the soul
  • Practicing forgiveness
  • Learning to live with loss
  • Coping with change and death
  • Creating relevant rituals
  • Cultivating wisdom
  • Leaving a legacy
